Theresa “Teri” Kalinowski

September 25, 1934 – December 5, 2023

On December 5, 2023, Teri was given her wings and went to walk among the angels.
Teri grew up in Hegewisch with her parents, Peter and Chestine Lisek, and was “big” sister to Ann (Barth) Kosarko and Chris (Hank) Trzupek. She was blessed to live a beautiful love story with her devoted husband Dan for 63 years. Together, they showered love on their five children – Dan (Karen) Kalinowski, Lisa Kalinowski, Michelle (Pat) Hennessy, Denise Kalinowski, and Karenmarie Kalinowski.

Teri loved to be with her family and filled every holiday with love and family traditions. She was blessed and cherished her 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She and Dan enjoyed their golden years in Crown Point and were parishioners of St. Mary’s Church. Teri was a loving, caring, beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial visitation will take place on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 Taft Street, Merrillville). Father Pat Kalich officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. For info, call 219-736-5840.
