It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Stojanka Taneska, age 72, who left this world peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Stojanka was a woman with a heart of gold and the kindest soul.  Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and selfless nature touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose greatest joy in life was caring for those she loved.

She enjoyed gardening, but she will be especially remembered for her famous homemade pogaca and kifli.  Her greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with her cherished grandchildren.  They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment, memory, and milestone they shared together.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Risto Taneski; her parents, Elena Sarafiloska and Dimo Sarafiloski; mother and father in law, Marija Taneska and Tanesko Taneski, and her brother, Dusko Sarafiloski.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Marina Perisic, son in law, Novica Perisic, and cherished grand-daughter, Irina Perisic; her adoring son, Mile Taneski, daughter in law, Michelle Taneska, and treasured grandsons, Kristian and Antonio Taneski.  She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her kindness, compassion, and unconditional love.

In accordance with her wishes, Stojanka will be laid to rest in Ohrid, Macedonia, a place that held incredibly special meaning to her, and where she wished to spend her eternal rest.  While her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in honoring her final wishes and ask that she be remembered through the love, kindness, and compassion that she shared with everyone whose lives she has touched.
