Sharon Jane (Fifer) Luna, age 63, of Hobart passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2026 at home. She was born on November 1st, 1962 in Chicago, IL to Gerald and the late Barbara (Cohs) Fifer. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Joseph Luna; father, Gerald Fifer; children, Michael O’Keefe and Jennifer (Aaron) Benjamin; siblings, Jerry (Pepi) Fifer, Nancy Griffin, Leslie (Ron) Rogers, Jayme Vickrey, Patrice Fifer, Randy (Angie) Fifer, Doug Fifer; former husband, Steven O’Keefe, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved canine companion, Maddie Jo.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara (Cohs) Fifer and sister, Tammy Hendricks.
Sharon loved her family deeply and treasured the time spent together. She showed her love through cooking and was happiest when she could feed and care for those around her.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2026 from 4-8 PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 340 County Line Road, Hobart IN.

Her personality was amazing. She always had a smile her laugh was contagious. Rest in peace Sharon. Love and prayers to the family.
So many things to share! Mary Kay parties, rainbow clown wig and costume she wore for her Halloween birthday party, concerts, bike riding to just hang out, potatoes in her chili, her finding my sock behind the T.V. years later, sharing recipes are just a few. I will miss just chatting it up. Most of all her laugh and that amazing smile on her beautiful face. I love you My Sharona!
