Ruth Ann Knight (Fiebelkorn) Age 62 of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by Family on April 28, 2024. Preceded in death by her Father and Mother George Fiebelkorn and Irene Fiebelkorn (Ferchak). Surviving are her husband Todd A. Knight; brothers Kenneth and Richard Fiebelkorn; uncles and aunts Herbert Fiebelkorn, Mike (Jackie) Ferchak; niece Katie Fiebelkorn; father and mother-in-law Glen (deceased) and Janet Knight; uncles and aunt-in-laws Gary and Margaret Knight, Barb Clarren (deceased), Bob (Sam) Lintemoot, Gail Bolton; brother and sister-in-laws Kelly Knight (deceased) Brad (Debi) Knight, Scott Knight; nephews and nieces Tanya Knight, Ryan (Autumn) Knight, Cory (Ashley) Knight, Sara Knight; great nephews and nieces Trenton and Savanna Isom, Jordan and Riley Knight, Paxton and Preslie Knight, Madison and Zahn Reyerbach, Kristen Chu.

Ruth Graduated from Merrillville High (IN) in 1980 and went on to Graduate from Purdue Calumet (IN) in 1984. She was married October 27th, 1984 and moved to Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 356. Ruth loved to go to dinner with friends, shopping, playing cards and traveling. Ruth was employed at Art Optical for 23 years and retired in May of 2024.

The family will be gathering at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN) on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 10:30am. A graveside service will take place at 11:30am at Calumet Park Cemetery (2305 West 73rd Ave Merrillville, IN)  PLEASE – In Lieu of Flowers send Donations in memory of Ruth Knight to Lemmen Holton Cancer Center OR Faith Hospice.
