Rogelio Gonzalez III (Roger) left to be with our lord on November 11th 2022 surrounded by his family at the age of 22. Predeceased by his loving mother Karina Alanis – Gonzalez. Lovingly remembered by his Father Rogelio Gonzalez Jr, sisters; Briany Gonzalez and Briselle Gonzalez; maternal grandparents Rene Alanis and Laurdes Pena; Paternal grandparents Rogelio Gonzalez Sr. and Maria Elena Alanis. Along with his uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will forever hold Roger lovingly in their hearts.
Roger was a natural at everything he set out to do, exceeding in multiple sports since childhood and surprising his dad with his ability to master jobs around the house without previous experience. He loved playing video games with his friends, cousins, and dad. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and cooking mostly after midnight. He shared a fascination for the stars with his father, spending many summer nights looking into the night sky together. His sisters were his partners in crime, helping him sneak back into the house after curfew, a special bond that will forever unite them. The only thing Roger loved more than cooking food was eating it and Grandma Yuyis and Guelita Marias Cooking were his all-time favorites. We will forever be missing a piece of our hearts without him here with us physically, but his gentle love, silly personality and bright spirit will give us strength to go on until the glorious day we are reunited once more.
“lessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” Matthew 5:4
