Robert “Bobby” Wright, 40, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.  A lifelong resident, he graduated from Chesterton High School and went on to study at Purdue Northwest. He also spent many years working at Gelsosomo’s Pizza in Chesterton and Michigan City.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved mother Ellen Wright of Chesterton; dear sister, Jenna Neuschafer of Florida; treasured niece and nephew, Alyssa and Colin; loving aunt, Marcia Cassidy of Michigan City; cousin, Nick Cassidy, who was like a brother to Bobby; his best four-legged buddy, Barkley; extended family in Oregon; and many cherished friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Wright, and maternal grandparents: Walter and Frieda Jaenicke.

Bobby enjoyed spending time getting his hands dirty outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting, or gardening. He made friends easily wherever he went, and collected as many as he could throughout the neighborhood, work, and school. He was an avid sports fan, keeping up on all the Chicago teams.

He will be immensely missed, deeply loved, and fondly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.
