Robert Altgilbers, age 82 of Calumet Township, passed away peacefully, July 13, 2023. Robert was born on July 5, 1941 to Herman and Florence (nee Madden) Altgilbers.

Robert is survived by his adored significant other Myrtle Cook; his siblings Allen Altgilbers, Sharon (Altgilbers) Cable (Jim), James Altgilbers (Gaile), William Altgilbers (Myra), and his daughters Janice Thornberry (Chris), Tammy Guerrero (Manuel); 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Molly Blaine and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Florence Altgilbers; and his brothers Wally Altgilbers, Melvin Altgilbers, Dennis Altgilbers and Thomas Altgilbers.

Robert retired from Material Dock Barge Services after several years of service.
