Rhoda was a talented pianist and singer. She was a long time member of New Hope Church of
God in Valparaiso and the First Church of God in Munster, Indiana. She was always ready to
help with activities and events at the church, including choir, youth group, dinners, visiting shut-
ins, publishing the church bulletins and newsletters, and hosting groups in her home. She was
the family record keeper, taking photos at every gathering and event. She was an excellent
hostess for family celebrations throughout the years, including birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving,
and Christmas. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, finding joy in the
lives of others. Rhoda was devoted to her family, her church, and her friends. She will be greatly
missed, yet welcomed in the presence of the Lord.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Rhoda’s passing. She was the sweetest lady. I remember her hosting youth group get togethers. Always so much fun! She will always be remembered.
