Patty Hemminger, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2025, at 68 years of age.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Neal Hemminger; her loving children: Rick Hemminger and his wife Patricia, Brandy Hubbard, Kevin Hemminger, and Daniel Hemminger and his wife Kacey; 21 precious grandchildren; and her brother, Eugene Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Doyle and Betty Miller; her dear sisters: Marilynn Miller and Linda Gordan; and her cherished sons: Steven Hemminger and Neal Hemminger Jr.

Patty was passionate about many things but the two things that topped her list were her family and her faith. She was a dedicated wife and mother, excelling in all things domestic, and showed love to all. Her church and church family were incredibly important and special to her and shared God’s word with all that she possibly could.

She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN 46410). Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. For information, call 219-736-5840.
