Patricia “Pat” Lynn Bellar (nee Wherry), age 75, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023.
Pat was born on March 20, 1948 in Tennessee. She grew up in Lake Station, Indiana living most of her life and raising a family in South Haven, Indiana.
She graduated from River Forest High School class of 1966. She lived her life happily as a homemaker, caregiver, and loving wife. She was a member of Emmanual Baptist Church in South Haven for many years.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne Bellar; 2 sons Dwayne (Dink) Bellar and David Bellar; daughter Michelle Bellar; 2 granddaughters, Kaci and Madison; sister, Becky (Roger) Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may meet with family 3-7 PM, on Tuesday, August 29th at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart, IN.
Funeral Service 12 PM, Wednesday, August 30th directly at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel. Pastor John Allen officiating.

Dear Becky and Family. I am so sorry for the loss of Pat. I loved her and Wayne. I remember the day they asked me to play the piano for their wedding. Our families go way back to when we all lived in Tennessee. She was a very sweet soul and will be missed.
