Nancy Carole Boyd, born December 23, 1947,  of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy filled with warmth, joy, and countless cherished memories.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jeffrey Boyd; her father, William Kaszycki; her mother, Louise Magrames; her stepfather, Louis Magrames; her brother, Carl Kaszycki; and her sister, Barbara Dunn.

In her youth, Nancy enjoyed a successful modeling career before meeting the love of her life, Jeff, at a local drive-in. Their love story blossomed into a beautiful family filled with laughter and happiness.

She is survived by her daughter, Jami (John) Naulty; her son, Dustin (Megan) Boyd; and her brother, William Kaszycki. Nancy was a proud grandmother to Stephanie, Erin, Kellie, and Camden, as well as a loving great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren: Jayci, Brynn, Amelia, Ted, and Owen.

Following Jeff’s passing in 1995, Nancy bravely moved to California to pursue their dreams for 12 years before returning home to be closer to her family. As a dedicated cardiac nurse, she was known for her compassion and commitment to helping others.

In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed bargain shopping, fashion, gardening, home renovations, and sewing. Her creative spirit and ability to find beauty in everyday life inspired everyone around her.

Nancy’s kindness, strength, and zest for life will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her extraordinary life, and the family warmly invites all who knew her to join in honoring her memory. There will be a brief graveside service departing Rendina Funeral home at 9:30 am on September 28, 2024. A memorial luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
