Milorad “Miso” Jocic, age 71 of Crown Point, passed away April 14, 2023. He was born in Gary, Indiana on February 11, 1952. He was a member of St Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Merrillville. He retired from US Steel as a welder with 30 years of service.
Miso was preceded in death by his dear son Timothy Jocic, parents Branko and Draga Jocic and his sister Dusanka Sanders.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Jocic; beloved son Danilo (Theresa) Jocic; adored granddaughters, Alexa, Gabriella, and Emma; sisters Gordana (Dusan) Cekarmis and Branislava (John) Raketic and many more nieces, nephews, Kumovi and friends. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.
Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10am at St Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 8700 Taft St, Merrillville, IN with Funeral Services beginning at 11am. V. Rev. Danny & I are going to miss our “little” brother more than we can express! Our hearts are hurting at his untimely passing. He cared about his family as well as his friends. Miso was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. Miso, may you rest in peace. We love you!

My uncle mis will be missed .we haven’t gotten to see each other for several years due to distance .. I have so many fond memories growing up w home n Aunt Donna n my cousins Danilo n Timmy .. My heart hurts for them .. but I know he’s not in any pain n w baba n deda n sweet Timmy .. god bless
