Mary Ellen (Raglow) Podsiadlik, 83, of Merrillville, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Spring Mill Health Campus in Merrillville. She was born on October 31, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to the late Richard and Gertrude (Kramer) Raglow. On August 22, 1964, in Chicago, IL, Mary married the love of her life, Frank Podsiadlik. He passed on February 1, 2017, after 53 wonderful years together. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Mark Podsiadlik, and Michael Podsiadlik; sister, Diane Raglow; and many loving friends. 

In recent years, Mary found a passion for the game, Candy Crush, which brought her much entertainment as time went by. Her son, Vincent, would notably consider her an ‘afficianado’ of the game. 

Mary will best be remembered as an amazingly loving wife, mother, and aunt to many. She, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life. 

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. She will later be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL, where she will be reunited with her husband, Frank. Calumet Park Funeral Chapel of Merrillville has been entrusted with arrangements.
