Louis T. Kujawski, 73, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away on October 22, 2025. He was born on August 19, 1952, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Louis P. and Mary L. Kujawski.

Louis is survived by his brother Tom (Sue) Kujawski of Munster, Indiana and niece Mary (Grant) Magers of Zionsville, Indiana.

Louis was a graduate of Merrillville High School, Class of 1971. Louis was also a graduate of Purdue University (Calumet Campus, currently called Purdue Northwest), in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering Technology, Louis worked for NIPSCO for over 35 years in Technical Services at various NIPSCO generating stations before his retirement in 2013. In his spare time, Louis enjoyed working on home improvement projects and tinkering on his 1986 Pontiac.

Louis will best be remembered for his no-nonsense handling of most situations.

In accordance with Louis’ wishes, he will be interred at Calumet Park Cemetery, where he will be near family. Calumet Park Funeral Chapel of Merrillville has been entrusted with Louis’ final private arrangements.
