I have know Lidija my entire life and she was my second Baba. I have such wonderful memories, growing up we would celebrate holidays together. We kept in touch throughout the years but the past year and a half have been a gift from God. My sister and I – with coordination of her neighbor, Martha, and many others helped care for her at her home. It was such a blessing and gift. We love you Lidija- another Angel watching over us. Thank you. Love you ❤️
I first met Lidija in 1996 when I bought the home right next to hers. As neighbors go, we hit it off right away.
We were not only neighbors but also became very good friends.
While I was at work, she would feed and let my dogs out.
She even surprised me one day when she showed me that she trained my dog to sit on his hind legs & beg.
On any given day during the summer months I would pull up into my driveway and I would often see her caring for her flowers or just sitting under the tree with Milan.
Through the years we grew very close and shared our thoughts.
I miss her already but I know she’s in good hands and she’ll always be in my heart ♥️. She can now rest peacefully….
Mart, you were a wonderful caregiver. Lidija knew that you sincerely cared for and about her. She was extremely lucky to have you as a neighbor. Love to you both.
I was so sorry to hear that Lidija had passed away. I didn’t know her very well or very long, but she was a darling lady. So well-organized and super friendly. I thought of her often. She’s the type of person you want to know better, and never forget. Rest in peace, Lidija. You’re already missed.
