Leroy Charles Hostetter II
Leroy Charles Hostetter (69) of Valparaiso, IN, passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Leroy was born on November 19, 1953 to Leroy and Dorothy Hostetter of Gary, IN. He attended Lew Wallace School and graduated in 1972 . He started his career as a butcher working for Key Market in 1978, as well as Town and Country Food Market and Strack and Van Til Company for more than 30 years. In his free time, Leroy enjoyed watching his grandkids at various sporting events. He also loved to watch his favorite sports teams: Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, and Chicago cubs. Leroy was a member of the American Legion Post 502 in Valparaiso, IN.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Dorothy Hostetter. He is survived by his 2 siblings ; Beverly Gulledge of Chesterton, IN and Charles (Debbie) Hostetter of Las Vegas, NV. Leroy has three daughters: Margaret (Chris) Kuder, Rebecca Hostetter, and Ashley (Jonathan) Bently. He is an extremely proud papa of his four grandchildren: Carter Phillips, Hailey Hostetter, Logan and Owen Jordan.
Friends and family may visit Calumet Park Funeral Chapel 370 N County Line Rd. Hobart, IN on Wednesday, November 1 from 3-7 p.m. for visitation. Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2 with Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
