 Julie A. Martisauskas age 65, of Demotte, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Anthony “Tony”: three children, Joseph J. (Tina) Martisauskas, of Hobart, IN, Nikkole E. Robertson, of Crown Point, IN, and Eric A. (Jill) Martisauskas, of Merrillville, IN; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; three sisters, Gloria J. (late Richard) Zaleski, Patricia L. (Bob) Sheets, and Catherine M. (John) Nardelli; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Virginia A. Cyrnek; great niece, Stephanie Jakubczak; brother-in law, Richard Zaleski. Julie was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She attended Ivy Tech College, graduated with double honor cord and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She was a medical assistant for many years. Julie enjoyed cooking and baking. Her sense of humor is unforgettable. Julie had a great love and passion to care for any animal that came her way. She was a loving and devoted wife, a mother, a grandmother and a loyal friend who will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. “Mom, I hate to let you go, it’s hard to say goodbye. You’re out of pain now, and there is a reason why. Mom you’re in God’s arms, in his ever loving embrace. You are singing with the Angels of Our Lord God’s Amazing Grace”.

Interment services will be held at a later date. The final resting place will be Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
