Juan Manuel Hernandez, 91, passed away peacefully December 12, 2025. Juan was born in Sahuayo Michoacan, Mexico, where he met his loving wife, Maria Carmen Hernandez, and got married on November 1974, and recently celebrated his 51^st Anniversary.

Juan had many travels and lived in California, and moved to Indiana. Juan had many friends and was loved very much. Juan loved to work, play Bingo, listen to music, cook and was a great jokester. Juan had retired from Harbison Walker but that didn’t stop him as he continued working. Juan is survived by his wife, Maria Carmen and his 3 sons Jesus (Magaly), Juan and Jorge (Patricia). He is also survived by his Grandchildren, Nisa, Cecelia, Ysenia, Alexia, Sebastian, Monica (David) Diaz, and 15 Great-Grandkids, Andrew, Kamya, Athena, Evelyn, Julian, Emmanuel, Bryan, Myrical, Jose, Shyne, Antonio, James, Emilio, Derrick, Leonel.

Public Visitation: Monday, December 22, 2025 from 3pm-7pm at Rendina Funeral Home, 5100 Cleveland St. Gary, IN.

Funeral Home Arrival: Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 12noon, and will depart at 12:30pm to head to the memorial mass.

Memorial Mass: Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 1pm at Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s, 8303 Taft St. Merrillville, IN.
