Joseph Glorioso, 71, of Crown Point, Indiana passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Joe was a loving father to his children and grandchildren and a cherished friend to many.
Joe was born on March 23, 1954 to Giuseppe and Nancy Glorioso. He was a graduate of Merrillville High School and later attended Ball State University before pursuing a career with McDonald’s as an Owner Operator. He worked for McDonald’s for over 30 years before moving back to Indiana and found joy dealing cards at the Casino before retiring.
Joe is survived by his sister, Tina (Ricardo) Casas; his children: Randy (Emily) Glorioso, Kevin (Kristin) Glorioso, and Sheri (Greg) Goska; his eight grandchildren: Ryan and Anna Glorioso, Emma, Baylee, and Asher Glorioso, and Oliver, Ben, and Zak Goska; his niece, Cristina and nephew, Armando; his Certa family, and many dear friends.
He was known for his big personality, his love of all things Bears, and his sense of humor. Joe’s smile was one filled with kindness and his deep hearty laugh was infectious. He had an appreciation for the outdoors which was instilled in his children. He was an active supporter of their adventures, especially in scouting. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and cheering on the Cubs. He was a joy to be around and he will be greatly missed.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Nancy Glorioso, and Frank and Mae Certa; his Aunt Rosa Fesi, and sisters: Mary Jane and Rosie Glorioso.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
