Jose was a free spirit with a fearless soul who didn’t let anything get in the way of his dreams. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. More than anything he loved his family and would do anything for them. He would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. He was both funny and courageous. There was never a dull moment when you were around Jose.

Fond memories from Bailey Middle School and Lew Wallace High School
My thoughts and prayers are with the Morales family. I had the pleasure of spending time with your family through Miriam and Mac. There was ALWAYS laughter, food and love
My greatest memory of Joey was driving with him, Mac and Almeda through Gary with the windows down and Joey and Mac screaming out the windows “WE JUST WON THE POWERBALL”. They were beeping the horn and yelling out. Folks were beeping back and cheering us on all along Broadway.
That’s sums up his spirit. He lived everyday with joy like he just won the powerball.
