Jeffery Scott Anderson, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Jeff was born September 19, 1956, in San Diego, California. He grew up in Merrillville, Indiana and lived most of his life in the surrounding area.

He was among the first graduating class of Calumet Baptist School and attended Bob Jones University. He was a Signalman for the EJ&E, Amtrak, and Metra railroads.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Teddy Anderson. He is survived by his sisters: Lisa (Ron) Floyd, Tammy (Dan) Curran, and Lorelei “Buffy” (Bob) Barnes; his former wife, Joy (Ed) Morales; their children: Jeremy Anderson, Jim Anderson, Jody (Justin) Click, Justin (Beth) Anderson; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may meet with family on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 10 – Noon with a Memorial Service starting at Noon at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410). Interment Calumet Park Cemetery.
