Jack Samuel Stricklin Sr., age 87, of Dyer, IN peacefully passed away in his home on December 12, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

Jack is survived by his son, Jack Jr. (Theresa) Stricklin; daughters, Donna (Bob) Munsie and Tami (Ron) Duszynski; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Robert Luther Strickland; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Jane (Whitehead) Stricklin; parents, Euell Matthew and Mildred Versie (Gunter) Stricklin; brother, George Matthew Stricklin; sisters, Johnnie B (Stricklin) Sanford and Joyce Ann (Stricklin) Key; great grandson, Logan Samuel Nobel.

Jack retired in 1998 after working many years in the #2 tin mill at LTV.
