For my lifelong friend Eric, I will miss him very much and always will treasure his friendship for all my life. Growing up together, we shared so many common experiences that friends do that its like we were brothers from the same family. In fact, our family’s always did things together & we hung out at each other’s houses for events and parties so much that Eric’s family became an extension of my family.
For Larry & Debbie, Amy, Tina & Rhonda – those are treasured memories for me and you will always have my love and friendship. For Abby & Alex, I hope you know how much your Dad loved you and hated the fact that he won’t be here physically to see you grow up to become the adults you will become to share in your successes in life.
But for myself Eric, This is just until the next time we meet again my friend. I’ll see you there…. Love you brother.
Eric and I met in the Army, we were together from training in Texas and stationed together in Korea. We were young and grew up fast. So many great memories shared. Unfortunately, we lost contact after Korea, but never stopped thinking about him and how he was doing. It wasn’t until the end of June that he tracked me down and we reconnect for the short time he had. Eric was a good dude, he will be missed. God bless.
