Eddie D. Bethel, 77, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born on June 1st, 1946 in Powderly, Kentucky to Elmo and Mallie (nee Vincent) Bethel.
Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years, JoAnn (nee Zweig); daughters, Jennifer and Alisa Bethel; grandson, Alex Samansky; sister, Sheila Shippen; and brother, Edgar (Angel) Todosijevic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Donald (Rosemary) Bethel and Ernie Bethel.
Ed was a proud US Navy veteran, serving in the Vietnam War abroad on the USS Orisanky. He enjoyed the casino, spending winters at his home in Dunedin, Florida, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Ed will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
