Dorothy Travis, 101, of Munster, IN, passed away on August 1, 2023.  She was born on March 31, 1922.
Mrs. Travis was a retired school social worker for the Gary Community School Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Travis.
Survived by son Vincent Travis (partner Laverne Brooks) of Aurora, Colorado.
Daughter Karin Travis, Son – in- law Mark Steiner, of Chicago, Illinois.
One brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Travis was a member of Saint Mark Parish.

A graveside service will be held for Dorothy on Thursday August 17, 2023 at 10:15am. The family will meet at the funeral home line up at 10:00 AM. Services will be held at Calumet Park Cemetery, located in Merrillville, IN.
