Craig died surrounded with loved ones in Michigan on February 10, 2025 at the age of 50.

Craig is survived by Holly Dodson, his Mother Sherry (Karl) Lasser, his kids Alexis (Dylan) Gaffney, Alison (Dipper) Dodson, Jaclyn Dodson, Harper Lesage, Brynn Lesage, Chace Dodson, Andrew Dodson and Dolly Dodson. His grandchildren: Dylan and Makenzie Gaffney. He is preceded in death by Father Clyde Dodson, maternal grandmother Alice Stash, his maternal grandfather Billy Donald Stash.

Craig was born on September 19, 1974 in East Chicago, Indiana. He graduated from Calumet High School in 1992.  He was a veteran, electrician, us steel worker, but most importantly a wonderful man and respected and loved by many. He was a friend, a father, a husband, a brother, a nephew, but mostly he was our hero.

A memorial service will be held February 21st, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm, with a lantern release at the end. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Craig’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 370 N County Line Rd, Hobart Indiana 46342.
