Colleen Flavin, Age 51, passed away on August 3, 2025.

Colleen lived for her family. She was always in the stands cheering on her children at all of their various activities. She loved attending family functions and was always around to give a helping hand to anyone. Colleen always lit up when spending time with her grandchildren which was so important to her. Her two fluffy dogs Molly and Rain were her two adopted children whom she loved unconditionally.

Colleen worked for Crown Point Schools Transportation. She cared and loved every child on her bus. Colleen is survived by her adoring children, Hannah Flavin (Josh Serabian), Collin Flavin (Stephanie Renner), and Ashtin Flavin (Lillian Caddick); grandchildren, Addison and Jayden; significant other, Mike Slyconish; brother, Robert Flavin; sister, Erin Dronet; Aunts, Eileen (John) Sum,

Kristeen (Randall) Sharp, Leann (Rick) Peterson, Joan Sharp, Shannon (James) McPencow; uncle, James (Kimberly) Sharp; many cousins and friends who are going to dearly miss her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Flavin and Kathleen Gard; grandparents, David and Joann Sharp; nephew, Makai Dronet; aunt, MaryEllen Hielscher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 2-6 PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN 46410.
