Chantell Marie Coleman Considine, a woman of boundless energy, charisma, and unwavering spirit, passed from this life on September 16, 2025, at the age of 47. She was born on February 11, 1978, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in East Chicago, Indiana.
For nearly 30 years, Chantell devoted herself to serving others as a restaurant server and manager, where her vibrant presence touched countless lives. She also carried her drive and determination into her work as a title clerk and sales manager at C&S Motors.
Chantell had a special love for animals and children. She rescued and nursed countless strays, finding them safe and loving homes. She welcomed her children’s friends as her own, opening her heart and home with warmth that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
With her loving heart, caring soul, and fiery personality, Chantell was truly unforgettable; a “real firecracker” whose light will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Coleman Jr.; her mother, Deseree Coleman; her grandfather, Joseph F. Coleman Sr.; and her grandmother, Jacqueline Coleman.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Considine; her children, Angelo J. Payan, Collin Considine, Deseree Considine, and Aiden Considine.
Visitation will be held at Rendina Funeral Home, 5100 Cleveland St., Gary, Indiana, on Sunday, September 28, from 1:00–5:00 p.m.
