Angja Naumoski

2026

Angja Naumoski, age 74, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully July 6, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Angja was a lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral and a retired (2018) employee of Arthur Winer company and Carl Buddig Company with many years of dedicated service.  Angja came to the United States on February 13, 1971, with her husband. She was also 8 months pregnant with her son, Thomas.

She loved sharing her love for gardening by giving her friends and family all the fresh veggies she grew. Every time the grandkids visited her she always showed them her beautiful garden. She couldn’t wait for winter to be over because that meant the gardening season was close to beginning again.

Angja was extremely devoted to her religion and husband. She had daily visits at her husband’s grave and regularly left from there to go straight to the church to light candles to send prayers to everyone she loved. She never missed family events, soccer games, or big life moments for both of her grandkids. She would travel near and far, across the country, to see them. “Baba” would call her granddaughters and greet them with the countdown of how many days left to see her grandkids when she knew they were coming home or had a big event coming up that she was going to attend. She constantly showed up with a huge smile on her face and always was first to show up with baked goods in hand. Angja loved to volunteer at the church bake sales. She was always on the go as the strong, resilient woman she was, setting that example for her granddaughters as she exemplified her love for her family by cooking and baking and spending quality time with them.

She loved her family but her granddaughters by far the most. One of Baba’s favorite activities with them was shopping. Baba and the grandkids would frequently run from the grocery store to the mall, back to a different store, and then to get some ice cream cones at Dairy Queen to end the day. She especially loved getting ice cream, she would never say no to that. Angja taught her children and grandchildren that family always comes first and that nothing is achieved in life if you don’t work for it; and she instilled those values into her family such as to always be kind and treat others with respect. She loved all of her Macedonian cultural traditions and sharing that with her granddaughters. When Angja received not ideal news, she always responded with “I’m okay, Baba is strong. When it’s my time, I will go be with God and Dedo.” Angja will be missed and remembered by all.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Zlatan Naumoski; parents, Marko and Nikolina Trajkovska; brother, Dragan Trajkovski; and family members, Profit and Zuga Naumoski.

Angja is survived by her two loving sons, Thomas (Anita) Naumoski, and Anthony Naumoski; adored grandchildren, Adrianna Naumoski, and Alexi Naumoski; sister, Nadezda (Nada) Petrovska; and her nieces and nephews, Radica (Vasko) Remboski, Meri (Igor) Mileski, and Maja (Ljupco) Mladenoski.
