Alice Yvonne Tidwell (Beverly), age 60, passed away on Monday December 26, 2022 in the comfort of her home.
She was born on October 13, 1962 in Merrillville by parents Helen and Jack Beverly. She is survived by husband James Tidwell. She is survived by her kids Guy (Bee) Maldonado, Tasha Maldonado, Tony (Amanda) Maldonado, and Tonya Maldonado (Mario). Step daughters Julie and Jamie. Brothers Guy, Jack, Curtis, and Mike Beverly. Sisters Debbie, Pam, and Star. She is also survived by grandchildren Destiny, Jeo, Selena, Mario III, Angelica, Veronica, Jose, Christian, Robert, Savannah, Isaiah, Tommy, Alyssa, Haley, Kaitlyn, Tony, Dakota, Zander, Alessio, Dominico, Bernie, Serenity and 10 great grandchildren. Alice proceeded in death by parents Helen and Jack Beverly.
Alice’s service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4-8pm at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 370 N County Line Rd, Hobart, IN 46342.
Mom you will be missed so much. You have set such a big impact on so many people. We have so many memories you was such honest person who loved so hard. I can sit here for days and write so many great things about you. I will forever cherish the good times . I love you more than you know. It’s going to be hard to hear your favorite words ” I Love you more”. It’s going to be very hard to say good bye but it’s never good bye. I will see you one day and give you the biggest hug.❤
What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. I feel so lucky & blessed to know Alice. There are no words for the legacy. Her shining personality and loving soul will live on in our hearts.

Alice, I hadn’t seen you in almost 30 years, but have thought of you and your family quite often over the years. I’m sad to hear of your passing and will always remember your kind spirit and your advice, as well as that of your mom & Star. I wish we all had kept in touch.
