Alexander (Alex) J Pavloff, Jr went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2023, at the age of 78.  Alex was born on July 10, 1945, to Alexander and Mary Pavloff in Gary, Indiana.  He graduated from Emerson High School and married the love of his life Donna (Swain) Pavloff. 

Alex served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.  He loved his country and formed close relationships with his “brothers” he served with.  Alex retired from NIPSCO and enjoyed spending time with his family and working outdoors.  Anyone who knew Alex knew that he was the most loving father, husband, and devoted friend that you could ever ask for.

Alex is survived by his children Stacie (Douglas) Brown, Aaron (Jason) Shireley and Jason (Amber) Pavloff, his grandchildren Addasyn Brown, Zachary Brown, Scarlett Craig, Blayde Pavloff and Alexis Pavloff and his sister Toni Czarnecki.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joanne.

The family will receive friends from 3pm-7pm on Monday, November 27th and services will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at 11am at Rendina Funeral Home in Gary.  Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery following the service.
