Lillie Karen Donald was born on March 10, 1956, to the late Thomas C. Donald and Mary Louise Donald. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose life touched many people.
Lillie was known for her warm heart, loving spirit, and, especially, her tasty baked goods. Her gift of baking was one of the many ways she shared her love with family and friends. Those who knew her will remember not only the delicious treats she prepared, but also the love and care that went into everything she did.
Lillie leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Mary J. Donald; son, Tony J. Donald; granddaughter, Pilar Moses; and grandson, Desmond Moses Jr. She is also survived by her brothers, Larry “Chili” Donald Sr. (Yvonne), Daryl Donald Sr. (Carolyn), and Michael Donald (Olivia); along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends Marie English, Pam Maghee, and Sandra Wright Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas C. Donald and Mary Louise Donald; her brother, Howard “Donnie” Donald; and her sisters, Cheryl Donald, Lela “Denise” Donald, and Deatra Donald-Griffin.
Though Lillie has departed this earthly life, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family takes comfort in the promises of God found in Psalm 91:7–16, trusting that the Lord remains her refuge and strength.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
