Radisav (Rade) Milic, age 91, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2026.
Rade was born in Montenegro to his parents, Petar and Milena Milic. On July 4, 1969, he immigrated to the United States alongside his beloved wife, Milka, in pursuit of the American dream. Through hard work, determination, and sacrifice, they built a beautiful life and legacy together.
Rade retired from Budd Company after many years of dedicated service. He was never one to sit still and spent much of his life working on homes, rental properties, and construction projects. He loved building things and took pride in seeing a project come to life.
“Mr. Ray” cherished life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed long scenic drives, walking for miles on end, and spending time with family. He especially loved spending his summers in Sutomore, Montenegro with his daughter, granddaughters, and son in law. Those summers brought him some of his happiest memories. No matter where life took him, his heart was always with his family.
Above all else, Rade was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law. His family was his greatest accomplishment and source of pride. He worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for future generations and was immensely proud to see his family build successful and meaningful lives while following in the values he instilled through his example. His love, guidance, and unwavering support shaped the lives of those who knew him best.
Known as a true gentleman, Rade carried himself with dignity, kindness, and humility. He treated everyone with respect and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Milka Milic, and his parents, Petar and Milena Milic.
Rade is survived by his loving daughter, Violeta (Viki) Terzioski; his devoted son-in-law, Pavel (Paul) Terzioski; and his cherished granddaughters, Natalia Terzioski and Tatiana Terzioski, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends in both the United States and Montenegro.
Rade will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his strength, generosity, wisdom, and unconditional love for his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the values he passed down, and the family he loved so dearly.
