Inocencia L. Hernandez of Hammond, Indiana, previously from Gary, Indiana  Age 97 passed away on Monday April 6, 2026.  She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Gary, Indiana and The Legion of Mary.  She was preceeded in death by her husband of 61 years, Juventino Hernandez; daughter, Myrna Hernandez; her parents, Antonio and Enriqueta Luna; 5 brothers and 1 sister.  She is survived by her son, Mark Anthony of Seatle, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews in Mexico and California.    Friends may visit from 3-7p.m. on Monday April 13,2026 at Rendina Funeral Home, 5100 Cleveland St., Gary, Indiana.  Viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at St. Joseph the Worker Church with Father Mike Surufka officiating.  Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery to immediately follow.
