Marcella T. Donley (nee Mroz), passed away peacefully on the morning of March 20, 2026, at the age of 89.

Lovingly known as “Marcy” to most, Marcella was born to Josef and Mary Mroz on November 27, 1936. She was raised in the region and graduated from Emerson High School in 1954.

Marcy was employed for many years at U.S. Steel, where she met the absolute love of her life, John R. Donley, and took part as a member of the choir there. She and John married at Divine Providence Polish National Church in February of 1959 and they would enjoy 61 beautiful years together before his passing in April of 2020.

She had also become and faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Church during that time.

She valued family and friends and spent much of her available time dancing, gardening, listening to music, and getting together with her companions. More than anything else, she loved being with and celebration her beloved family – her children and siblings, but especially her grandchildren.

Marcy leaves many to cherish her memory, including her loving children: daughter, Doreen (David) Ronzani and son, John H Donley (fiancée Fawn Prahlow); treasured grandchildren: Bradley Badovinac, Nicholas Ronzani, Kyle Donley, Alyssa Donley, and Connor Donley; beautiful great grandsons: Bealyr Donley and Braiden Donley; dear sister-in-law, Mary (Dan) Whitler; and several extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; her parents, Josef and Mary; her in-laws, Ruth and Henry Donley; her precious Angelic granddaughter, Kaitlyn Mckenzie Donley; brother-in-law, James Donley, and sister-in-law, Sharon Lepird.

Marcy will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved her.
