Nick John Coros, passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

Nick lived a full life, characterized by both strength and complexity. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. To those who knew him, he will be remembered in various ways, but always as someone who left a lasting impression.

He is survived by his children: John (Teri) Coros, Donna (Robert) Camp, Maran (Jason) Montgomery, Tammy (Dan) Coros, Nichole (Jeremy) Adams, and Irene (Tony) Panozzo.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jessica (Derek), Jenniefer (Nick), Angela (Rodney), Amber (Jason), Cynthia, Tammi, Christina (Christopher), Nick (Jessi), Cara, Devin (Jessica), Kaylee (Job), and Maverick.

His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Mya, Cayden, Madison, McKenzie, Alexandria, Keira, Sofia, Olivia, Elaina, Kaleb, Scarlett, Nora, Amelia, Kinley, Loella, and Vivian.

He is further survived by his siblings: Theodora Chrusciel, Steve Demakis, and Mikes Simiakos.

He was preceded in death by his beloved and devoted wife, Vivian Coros; his parents, John Coros and Inez Marjanian; and his siblings: Marian Coros-Jones, Irene Coros, and John Simiakos.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 am -12:30 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 W. Taft, Merrillville, Indiana 46410), with a funeral ceremony will follow immediately at 12:30 pm.

Interment with Military Honors at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
