Marian Louise Kovacik, a stay at home mom and wife, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Valparaiso, IN at the age of 83. 

Marian is survived by her children: John Kovacik (Devon), Jacqueline McCumber, and Ann Marsee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband: John Kovacik Sr, her daughter: Janice Elston, and her son: Brian Kovacik. 

She was born in Valparaiso, IN on June 1, 1942. She married her husband, John Kovacik Sr on January 25, 1964. 

A viewing for Marian is scheduled for Thursday February 26, 2026 from 3PM-7PM. Funeral services will be held Friday February 27, 2026 at 11AM. All services will be held at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410. Burial services will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery.
