Ronda Sue Kalil, née Horton, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Gary, Indiana, at the age of 59. Born on April 25, 1966, in East Chicago, Indiana, she was a lifelong resident of the state she called home.

Ronda was the beloved daughter of Brenda Horton and the late Rondal Horton. Also survived by her younger brother Rondal Horton Jr..

She was a devoted mother to her children: Lance Kalil, Nicole Kalil, Amber Kalil, and Ashley Kalil. Her legacy continues through her cherished fourteen grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Ronda’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those who mourn her passing.
