Mary Frances Westmoreland (Nee Hawkins) passed peacefully on December 18, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Westmoreland; dear daughter, Melissa Westmoreland Ramsay, and loving son, Stephen Westmoreland; and siblings Lucretia Hawkins Westmoreland, Yvonnia Hawkins Phillips, and Dorothy Hawkins Burse.

She is survived by her brother, Roger Hawkins of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four cherished grandchildren: Cassandra Westmoreland, Samantha Ramsay Lau, Timothy Ramsay, and Patricia Westmoreland Graves; six treasured great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary, who was lovingly known as “Frances”, and Bobby were happily married nearly 40 years, and they built their life together in Lake Station, IN.

She was always a Tennessee girl at heart, often reflecting about her time growing up on the farm. She was an avid reader, ensuring to read her Bible every morning. Her family was her main priority throughout her life, providing love, shelter, and comfort whenever needed. Family will hold a graveside service at Calumet Park Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.
