Natalie Lynn Caine was born on October 10, 2025, in Hobart, IN. While in her mother’s arms and dad by her side, Natalie Lynn unspokenly said, “I’m very tired and God is ready and waiting for me.” At 12:20 pm on October 14, 2025, Natalie took her first steps with God. Despite her very short time here with us, Natalie was deeply loved by all. She brought joy and smiles to all around her.
Natalie Lynn will be forever remembered and loved by her parents, Veronica Turnes, and Jason Caine; her siblings, Hailie Caine, Alyssa Lewis, and James Lewis; and by Buddy, her four-legged brother. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Melissa Castillo, “Lil” Joe Rixie, Ashley and Mike Caine, and Nykole and Jack Hammons; her cousins, Madisyn, Morgan, Cattleya, and Maci; her great grandmother, Marilyn Perryman; her grandmothers, Deborah Caine, and Ronda Rixie; and her grandfather, Joe Rixie.
Natalie was preceded in death by her great grandfathers, Rev. Ronald Ulrey, Fred Turnes, and Denny Bartelt; her great grandmothers, Jo Ann Rixie, Eva Turnes, and LuLu Bartelt; her grandfather, Ernest Caine; her great aunt, Denise; and great uncle, Dennis.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Living Stones Church, 909 Pratt Street, Crown Point, IN 46307, from 3 PM to 4 PM. A short remembrance service followed visitation, beginning at 4 PM. Calumet Park Funeral Chapel of Merrillville has been entrusted with Natalie Lynn’s arrangements.
