Marlene , was my neighbor and friend for many years, She loved God, and her family. We shared many long talks, and meals together, she never forgot a birthday to her loved ones, even after I moved to Arizona, the cards kept coming for 11 years. I called her often at assisted living, And sent her things in the mail she wasn’t supposed to have, Like tons of cookies, chocolate, cakes, stamps so she could get her cards out.
She loved her turner classic movies! She made the best egg salad!! When I was sick, she gave me my injection weekly, and I’d bring Dairy Queen, I will always treasure our memories, I have her 1970’s stereo on my house that I always loved, and her Mary and Jesus heavy wall hanging. And every gift she ever gave me. There is no one else like her!
She started to decline after her Missy passed away. Heaven gained a great Godly woman, well done Gods faithful servant. I am blessed to have you in my life, as. Friend, nurse, mentor, chef, and confidant. I love you Marlene,
