Hilda Almedina, age 85, of Hobart, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maximiliano Almedina. She is survived by her loving children: Jose (Arlene) Almedina, Nelvys (Carlos) Marcano, Hilda (Louie) Lopez, Jorge (Karri) Almedina and Max (Marilyn) Almedina; Grandchildren: Vanessa (Joel) Pagan, Jocelyn (Samuel) Burgos, Nelsy (Kevin) Maslanka, Joseph (Monica) Almedina, Jorge (Sophia) Almedina, Jolynn Almedina, Max Almedina III, Jessica (Jesse) Martinez; Great grandchildren: Christian, Aniyah, Nikole, Sophia, Camila, Daniel Leon and coming in January, Azariah. One sister in Puerto Rico: Carmen (Gelo) Vazquez, and many nephews and nieces.

Services will be held at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel Hobart-Portage 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart, IN 46342

Public Visitation: Friday, October 10, 2025 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm with service from 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Interment Service: Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel Hobart-Portage from 9:00am – 10:00am proceeding to Calvary Cemetery (2701 Willowdale Road, Portage, IN 46368)
