Mary K. Perzo, originally of Gary (recently of Beloit, WI), passed away Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 at the age of 68.

Beloved mother of Stacey Perzo, treasured grandma to Alyssa (Jessica), Alex, and Isaac (Maria), and loving great grandma to Romeo, Milana, and Eli, Mary will be dearly missed by all the friends and family that she leaves to cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and D. Virginia Perzo; brothers, James and Paul Perzo; and sister, Judith Perzo.

Mary worked for and retired from both US Steel and driving a school bus for Illinois Central School Bus Company. She enjoyed spending extra time quietly – working on crossword puzzles or watching television. Her favorite splurge was getting her nails done and her absolute favorite time of year was any holiday that she could gather together with her family and cook for them. Although the first loves of her life were her daughter, her grandbabies and great grandbabies, Elvis came in very close second. Her home and car rides were never without the crooning voice of The King.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 10 AM – 1 PM at Rendina Funeral Home (5100 Cleveland Street, Gary, IN). Procession to follow to Memory Lane Memorial Park for burial. For additional information, call 219-980-1141.
