Alimpije Kutanovski, age 98, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 5, 2025. He came the United States in August of 1966 and later brought his family to the USA in 1967. Alimpije was also a member of S. S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. He retired from US Steel with over 24 years of dedicated service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kostadina; his infant daughter, Zorica; his parents, Trajko and Aleksandra Kutanovski; his siblings: Rade Kutanovski, Golaba Skreceski, and Desa Sajnoski; and in-laws, Sotir and Sereafina Pejoski.
He is survived by his four loving children: daughter, Trajanka (Spase) Salkovski; 3 sons, Mitre (Sophie) Kutanovski, Dragan (Lena) Kutanovski; Pavle (Aleksandra) Kutanovski; 9 grandchildren: Tome (Jasmina) Salkovski, Vickie Tucker, Alex (Elizabeth) Kutanovski, Kathy (Greg) Ridenour, Jennifer (Dave) Borkowski, Christopher (Katherine) Kutanovski, Michelle (Danny) Fogel, Stephanie (Sasho) Cubrinoski, Andrew (Devon) Kutanovski; 16 precious great grandchildren; and many other dear relatives, Kumovi and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11 am directly at S. S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral (9660 Broadway, Crown Point) with a visitation beginning at 10am.
