Milka Milic, age 79, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Milka was born in Podgorica, Montenegro, and immigrated to the United States on July 4, 1969, alongside her devoted husband, Radisav (Rade) Milic. She retired from Lake Central High School after many years of dedicated service.

A loving homemaker, Milka found joy in caring for her family and was deeply devoted to her daughter and granddaughters, who were the light of her life. Her love for them was unwavering and proudly shared with all who knew her. She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in watching her flowers bloom. Milka also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and cleaning, and was known for her impeccable sense of style.

Her home was always open and welcoming, a place where family, friends, neighbors, and guests felt loved and cared for. Milka had a generous heart and a deep desire to help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vujadin and Milica Camovic; brothers, Pajo and Drago Camovic; and sisters, Zlatija Djeric, Ljeposava Bozovic, Danica Rasovic, and Divna Lazovic.

Milka is survived by her beloved husband, Radisav Milic; her cherished daughter, Violeta (Viki) Terzioski; her son-in-law, Paul Terzioski; and her adored granddaughters, Natalia and Tatiana Terzioski. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family both in the United States and in Montenegro.

Milka will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 12pm at St Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 8700 Taft St, Merrillville, IN with V. Rev. Aleksandar Novakovic officiating.
