BORIS ANGELOV – HOBART, IN

Boris Angelov, age 91 of Hobart, IN, a very devoted husband and father, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, May 20th, 2023. He is survived by his two children; Helen (John) Strimbu of New Lenox, IL and George (Becky) Angelov of Palmetto, FL, his granddaughters; Marie Angelov of Davie, FL and Alexandra Strimbu of New Lenox, IL; his sister Luba Pavleski of Indianapolis, IN, sister-in-law Nada Krstanovski of Merrillville, IN, and brother-in-law, Tome (Nada) Ilievski of Merrillville, IN; also, many nieces and nephews, Kumovi and dear friends in the U.S., Canada, Macedonia, and Australia.

His beloved wife Sevda Angelov and daughter, Blanche Angelov preceded him in death, along with his parents; Angele and Blaguna Krstanovski, brothers; Kire Krstanovski, Vlado (Dana) Krstanovski, Slobodan (Kita) Kristevski, and Krste Krstanovski, his in-laws Stavre and Donka Ilievski, and brother-in-law Risto (Luba) Ilievski.

Boris was a devout member of SS. Peter & Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. He will be deeply missed by his family. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 24th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft St, Merrillville, IN. A Pomen Service will be offered at 7:30 p.m, Rev Aleksandar Mitrov officiating. Funeral services  on Thursday, May 25th, at 12:00 PM at S.S. Peter & Paul Macedonian Cathedral, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.  Internment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. For further information please call Mileva at 219-736-5840.
